153: Keys to Successful Facebook and Instagram Campaigns – w/ Daniel Knowles

Dr. Daniel Knowles is no stranger to the chiropractic profession. Many of you know him from his epic annual chiropractic event, MileHigh, held in Denver. Last week he interviewed me for his podcast. With his permission, I have used the same recording for this week's episode of ChiroCandy.

BJ Palmer used the technology of his time, which was radio, to get the message of chiropractic out to the public.  You have an incredible gift of social media that you need to be using to get the message of chiropractic out to your community in the world.  Too many chiropractors and other health care providers are using social media as a time-waster instead of using it to get their valuable message out.  Or, they're using it part of “Shiny Object Syndrome”, buying kits and systems from firms as a way to magically bring in new patients.

Billy Sticker of Chiro Candy has a different strategy, which is helping you build a tribe of ideal practice members using social media.  Seriously, don't fall prey to “Shiny Object Syndrome”! Instead, use social media to get your message of health and healing out to the communities so people know what you do, how you do it and why you do it. They’ll like you, and then will follow up with you.  This is a much better strategy than trying to get a magical grand slam of new patients in the door, and then being disappointed.
