Chirocandy's philosophy is simple. The growth of any chiropractic practice is based on these five principles: Attitude; Work Effort; Who; What and How.

All of the teaching, whether motivational or instructional, will fall under one of these 5 categories (or flavors, staying with the “candy” theme:)).
Most things in your practice are out of your control. You can not make patients never miss a visit. You can not control who accepts care. You can give them the best Report according to the tools you have, but ultimately it is out of your control. There are only two things you can control: your attitude and work effort. (more about work effort in a minute)
Your mindset matters! You have to know that people need your help. You do make a difference.

You also must start seeing yourself equal parts, chiropractor and marketer. You must identify yourself as a marketer, just as much as a chiropractor.
Your attitude sets the pace and/or mood for everything you do. Expect to see the success you work for.
2. Work Effort
The only other thing you control is your work effort. Every other principle will fall under one of these umbrellas: Attitude or Work Effort.
All you can do is all you can do. But are you doing all you can do? Are you working on the right things that will get you the most benefit? Or is it busy work?
Psalms 14:23 says, “All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads to poverty.”
Too often we spend too much time talking instead of working on the things that will get us closer to our goals.
3. The Who? (Your Market)
You need to be able to target the right people. Who is your ideal patient?
Even if you have a great message/offer, if you don’t get that message to the right person, it is going to
fall on deaf ears.
There are three ways to break down your target market:
1. Geographics: Live in a particular area.
2. Demographics: Age, money, marital status, religion, etc.
3. Psychographics: What people think. Values, fears, desires, etc.
4. The What? (Your Offer)
The general offer is your chiropractic services. But it also encompasses your specific offer in marketing, i.e. (Free Exam, etc.) In all communication with your patients and prospects, there should always be an offer. Even if it's asking for referrals. There will always be an offer.
5. The How? (Your Media)
How will you reach your market with your offer? For best results, you will use several methods: health fairs, screenings, online marketing, direct mail, in office promotion, etc.
